New Moon Lunar Magic - Taurus - Sound Bath Series

Nicole Bettencourt Coelho hosts a ritualised sound journey for a direct, deep encounter with the powers of each zodiacal energy as the New Moon moves through the signs. This series is dedicated to the New Moon – container and vessel, pulse of time, the magic mirror; our ancient teacher and companion in the ways of change, transformation and dream. It opens with a hypnotic visualisation to enter a dream-like state, enhanced by incenses, then moves into a meditation in sound, in which each person bathes in the Lunar resonances of gongs, crystal bowls, and shakers. On the altar, the group then ceremoniously create a lunar tincture, and some may be taken home to form part of an ongoing meditation beyond the event.

Dress: Comfortably, as you will be lying down for up to 45 minutes.

Bring: A blanket, and a notebook if you would like to write about your experience afterwards.

Nicole Bettencourt Coelho is a musician, sound therapist and sound artist with an interest in semiotics, ritual forms and queer magic. Their work explores sound and visualisation to effect transformation in the context of trance.
