About The Event
Across the British Isles, May Day rich with old folk traditions involving flowers, herbs. Hannah Sanders teaches this lore, with hands-on demonstrations of the practices, so participants will be able perform these old rites themselves on the night: bathe in dew, adorn trees, and leave the time-honoured offerings to the fey. Hannat introduce the old folk songs which are full of teachings about the nature of the Beltane season's magical power. A professional folk singer and green witch, Hannah is your guide for an evening of magical enchantment!
Hannah Sanders is a longstanding practitioner of folk and herb magic. She was the last apprentice of writer and tarot reader Joyce Collin-Smith, and she is the granddaughter of a well-known Irish fortune teller. Professionally, she is a traditional folk singer signed with Topic records.
