Old Norse Cosmology - Heathenry Workshop

This workshop, part of the Heathenry Series, is a journey into the cosmology of the Norse peoples. Andre Henriques shares their beliefs about the universe: the Nine Worlds, the World Tree Yggdrasil, and the Prophecy of the Sibyl. He relates, too, humanity's creation, lore and the supernatural.  These, drawn from sources like the Voluspa poem in the Eddas, are also living, breathing myths underpinning modern Heathenry and its practices. Heathens revere the old Northern gods, but Andre will discuss how they also use this worldview to frame their ethics, ritual, spirituality and community. Fully inclusive: all genders, sexualities and ethnicities are warmly welcome.
