About The Event
In the witches' wheel of the year, Lammas is an important holiday, dedicated to the grain harvest, 'John Barleycorn,' summer bounty, and the sacrifice of the corn to make bread. Tonight explores the way witches see this time, and how they mark it. The first hour is an illustrated talk with discussion. The first hour is an illustrated talk with discussion. The second hour is a led discussion in which participants will ask questions and share their own knowledge of seasonal folk magic.
The tutor is Rebecca Beattie, a longstanding Wiccan practitioner who is approachable and knowledgeable.
