About The Event
Much of old folk magic across Britain and Europe is dedicated to protection – the transformation of one's space in order to cleanse and heal.
This hands-on workshop outlines the principles of protective and cleansing magic before turning to a host of corresponding charms and ritual actions that can be applied in modern life. Participants are given instructions on how to create protective objects and practise making them in class. All supplies are provided and everyone takes home what they've made.
Lucya Starza is a London-based eclectic witch whose decades of practise inform her teaching and writing. Alongside her famed and acclaimed Bad Witch's Blog, she has written books on candle magic, poppets and scrying. Most recently, she released her first novel – the gothic tale, Erosion.
