Psychogeography: Magic of Place
Julian Vayne's workshop explores methods to connect to the land under one's feet, whether it be in the city or the countryside

About The Event
This workshop is a lively look at the theory and practice of psychogeography, the special ways of moving in the landscape which spans across time and culture: from medieval pilgrimage to twentieth-century Situationist derive and detournement. Julian Vayne is a longstanding advocate of the practice; he shares several of the most transformative methods. Participants will also learn how to locate power spots and how to meet spirits of place, so they can attune to the hidden energies of a place when settling into a space whether it be for operative magic, self-transformation or spiritual illumination.
Julian Vayne is an occultist over 35 years’ experience. His work is informed by chaos magic, and by lineages in Wicca and Tantra. A regular workshop leader and speaker, Julian is also a co-organizer of the psychedelic conference Breaking Convention, and he sits on the board of The Journal of Psychedelic Studies. His books, essays and articles are published in both the academic and esoteric press.
