Rune Course

The most common runic alphabet used today is the 24-rune Elder Futhark, named from the first six letters (f, u, th, a, r, k). Each letter 'rune' has a literal meaning as well as numerous correspondences, coming from sources such as old rune poems and modern practitioners. The classes dive into their meanings for divination, magic and internal spiritual work. There will be meditations, as well as practical exercises, to help everyone cement their learning. By the end of the course everyone can be confident in starting using the runes in their own practice. Each workshop is recorded. These recordings are made available to all students for the length of the course.

The first session introduces the runes as a whole in their historical, mythical, and magical contexts.  Each of the following sessions covers one of the three groups (or families, aetts) of eight runes each.
