About The Event
Practitioners Katie Gerrard and Andre Henriques talk about the High Seat rite and other seidr practices: foreseeing, fate and the web of wyrd. They explain what these are, then enjoy a convesation comparing notes, sharing anecdotes and posing questions. Their conversation is as enlightening as it is fascinating. Both are articulate, experienced and charismatic : we promise a rich evening concluding with an audience Q&A.
Katie discovered seidr in the late 1990s through her connection to the Norse deities. She is the author of Seidr: The Gate is Open, about her journey which has included leading rites and workshops (including some for Treadwells). Andre  is a longstanding and well-loved member of the pagan community. He has participated in seidr ceremonies over the years, and has also pursued academic research for his MA dissertation on practices and personal cosmologies of contemporary Norse-inspired Pagans.
