About The Event
This two-part workshop on sigil magic led by Mark Vincent Smith begins with their history, from their early appearances in the grimoires to the modern methods developed by Austin Osman Spare and Peter Carroll. Mark then delves deeply into the role of hypnosis in the modern method of the practice. These two sessions are also highly practical, leading participants through the essential mechanisms of creating and empowering a sigil: from intent, to inscription, to implantation in the unconscious. By the end of the two sessions, participants will be able to confidently create and energise their own sigils. Attendees are asked to have their cameras on; if this is an issue, please email us.
Mark Vincent Smith has worked as a professional musician for 25 years and is also a clinical hypnotherapist with over 15 years' experience. He is a longstanding independent chaos magician. He works extensively with the techniques developed for working with subconscious blocks, motivation and core beliefs. Mark runs numerous courses and workshops through Treadwell's, and his sessions sell out quickly.
