This two-day workshop explores the psychology of the sacred, looking at inner pairs of qualities which can feel at odds with one another: masculine and feminine, ego and shadow. The spiritual journey is a struggle to integrate the competing energies within, and to connect with the true self. The facilitators draw on theories from Jungian, Transpersonal and Archetypal psychology, from the Western mystery tradition, and from Eastern philosophy and spirituality. Practical work consists of inner journeying, imaging and meditation. This weekend is aimed at those practising specific spiritual or magical traditions, and for those on their own personal journey, to help one along one's chosen path.
