About The Event
How might we walk through the world as magicians? Psychogeography is the practice of conscious wandering — discovering hidden currents of meaning in the landscapes we inhabit. From medieval pilgrimages to the dérives of the Situationists, this art of movement allows place itself to become the oracle. In this workshop Julian Vayne shares practical exercises to locate power spots, commune with the spirits of place, and cultivate heightened states of awareness through movement. Equal parts poetry, anthropology and magic, this evening invites you to see your familiar streets and wild spaces anew.
Julian Vayne is an occultist with over 35 years’ experience. His work is informed by chaos magic, Wicca and eastern mysticism. A regular workshop leader and speaker, Julian has also written extensively on site-specific magic, notably in his book (co-written with Greg Humphries). His books, essays and articles are published in both the academic and esoteric press.
