The Wheel of the Year - Free Book Launch

Join us in person and online to launch Dr. Rebecca's Beattie's new book, The Wheel of the Year. Join us as we talk about nature living, folk rites, old practices, seasonal magic. The Wheel of the Year is a guide to the ancient rhythms and old ways of marking them, a help for developing your own practices that are local and personal. It's a celebration and an affirmation. We promise a lively talk as we explore the tunring of the year, from Yule to Imbolc to Beltane and back around to the darkening tides. 

Dr. Rebecca Beattie grew up on Dartmoor in England's West Country. A Wiccan priestess of over 15 years' experience, she is a published author (including Nature Mystics) with an MA in literature (University of London) and a doctorate in Creative Writing (Middlesex). 

Dr John Callow has written widely on Early Modern witchcraft, politics, modern Wicca, pagan pop culture, and cultural history. He has appeared on the BBC’s The One Show to discuss the roots of Hallowe’en; on the BBC Radio 4 documentary, It Must be Witchcraft;  Find My Past's The Great Fire of London; and the Discovery Channel's four-part series, The Salem Witches.
