About The Event
In the witches' wheel of the year, autumn equinox is dedicated to the time of the fruit harvests, falling leaves and lengthening nights. Tonight explores the way witches see this time, and how they mark it. The first hour and a half is an illustrated talk with discussion. The last half hour is given over to working a piece on seasonal folk magic. To join in: bring an apple, and a knife or a cocktail stick.
Rebecca Beattie has spent more than twenty years studying and practicing witchcraft and Wicca, and has a deep understanding of the traditions underpinning the practices. A published author, her books include Nature Mystics: The Literary Gateway to Modern Paganism and Wheel of the Year: A Nurturing Guide. Site: https://www.rebeccabeattie.co.uk/
