About The Event

Witchcraft communities are the subject of this discussion between Jason Mankey and Christina Oakley Harrington. They discuss the USA and the UK, touching on Gardnerians, Alexandrians, eclectics, 'Big Name Pagan', festivals, and pub moots. How and what do people join, and why? They promise personal stories and insights arising from decades in that world. With a participatory Q&A.

Jason Mankey  has been involved in the American pagan community for many years. He is a longstanding Wiccan priest (Gardnerian) who heads two covens with his wife Ari in the San Francisco Bay area. An author, his many titles include The Horned God of the Witches. He looks forward to watching England and the USA tie in soccer/football at this year's World Cup. Christina Oakely Harrington has been involved in the London pagan community since 1989 and is the founder of Treadwell's Books and a published author. Also a Wiccan priestess, she is an avid watcher of cultural trends within these communities.
