Rebecca Beattie

Rebecca Beattie has spent over twenty-five years studying and practising witchcraft. A Wiccan priestess for more than two decades, she is known for her warm, practical approach and her ability to make magical practice accessible without sacrificing depth.

Alongside decades of practical experience, Rebecca has explored the history and traditions of witchcraft through both research and lived practice. She holds a doctorate in Creative Writing and is the author of several books, including Wheel of the Year, The Way Through the Woods and Planetary Magic, all of which are available at Treadwell's.

Rebecca first discovered Treadwell's as a student after wandering into the original Covent Garden shop more than twenty years ago. She later became a tutor and has since been running popular series and courses on pagan deities, planetary magic and modern witchcraft, as well as the hugely successful ‘Witch's Apprentice’ series, which offers an accessible, grounded and well-informed introduction to magical practice.

Her work has been featured by the BBC, Radio 4 and The Telegraph. Whether teaching, writing or appearing in the media, Rebecca is known for helping people find realistic, meaningful ways to incorporate magic into everyday life.
