Chanting the Magical Planetary Powers - Workshop

In this groundbreaking workshop, singer and chant leader  Hannah Sanders introduces the old ideas of 'the music of the spheres': she  looks at Pythagoras’s theories, divine harmony, and the musical-planetary ideas of of 16th century astrologer-mathematician Johannes Kepler.  She then teaches participants how to hear the notes and sounds of each planetary sphere, and  --  finally  --  how to use them in spiritual-magical work, with toning, chanting, and invocation.  Join us if you want to go deep into the esoteric powers of the Western musical tradition.

Recently signed to the prestigious Topic Records, Hannah Sanders has been a singer of traditional songs since her teens. Over the last six years she has released three studio albums of folk songs to critical acclaim, and has toured across three continents with her duo Hannah Sanders & Ben Savage. She also has a doctorate in anthropology, and worked as a university lecturer for ten years in the United States.
