About The Event

London's witchcraft history is the theme of this tour, and Maria Beadell introduces the women persecuted as witches: the medieval healers, the Elizabethan social climbers, the pagan priestesses, and the wartime mediums. She takes the group to places they were associated with, including a pagan temple, and relates their stories  -- she is vibrantly skilled in bringing these characters to life.  You will be entranced, and will see London through new eyes.

Meet: outside Farringdon tube Station at 7.50, tour leaves 8.00 precisely. Duration: 1.5 hours, ending at St Pauls Cathedral.
