About The Event

Maria Beadell's tour explores the history of the women persecuted as witches in the capital, from medieval healers, to Elizabethan social climbers, to pagan priestesses, to wartime mediums. Get ready for a rollicking walk featuring street theatre, character acting and storytelling with a comedic twist plus a visit to a pagan temple.

Meet outside Farringdon tube station at 19.50 – tour leaves at 20:00 precisely. Duration: between 1.5 – 2 hours, ending at St Paul's Cathedral. Photos may be taken, but recording or filming of the tour is not allowed.

Maria Beadell is an independent writer, performer, actor and founder of Herstorical Tours. She is fascinated by women's history in the capital.
