Meeting the Gods: Witches' Gods

This workshop introduces deities who are worshipped widely in modern witchcraft, focussing on Hecate, Odin and Isis. These gods are from a range of cultures, and each has their own story, magic and personality: Hecate from Greece, Odin from the Scandinavian regions, and Osiris from Egypt. Rebecca Beattie gives a presentation to start the process of getting to know them, then leads a guided meditation for all to join in. Rebecca Beattie brings an informative approach to her inclusive style or teaching, aimed at those starting out. A Wiccan priestess who apprenticed in her tradition over 15 years, she brings much lived experience and practical knowledge. She has an MA in Literature (London) and a doctorate in Creative Writing (Middlesex) with a dissertation on the modernist mystic Mary Webb. She is a published author with several books to her name.
