About The Event
Across time and place, witches and wise folk have been asked to bring comfort, aid and insight in times of joy and sorrow. The Old Witch Ways For Today class series explores the key skills requested of magical folk within their communities today, and how to live by the pulse of old cunning magic.
This class will be focused on the skill of 'finding treasure'. From locating lost objects to revealing our heart’s desire, uncovering items and elements of value is a petition frequently made to witches. Using old techniques and charms, and employing the help of our beloved dead and land spirits, it's possible to help those yearning for richness.
Hannah Sanders has a doctorate in anthropology and is a longstanding practitioner of folk and herb magic. She was the last apprentice of writer and tarot reader Joyce Collin-Smith, and she is the granddaughter of a well-known Irish fortune teller. Professionally, she is a traditional folk singer.
