Seeing the Future – Class

Divination is one of the most ancient and varied forms of magic in the world. 

In this class, Hannah Sanders examines the many methods of 'seeing the future'. From reading the cards and palmistry, to astrology and number-based oracles, participants learn about the history and benefits of several disciplines. By the end, the group will have a broad understanding of the most important divination techniques and how to use them in a modern context for meaning, insight and foretelling. Recommended for individuals interested in exploring different 'ways of seeing', and those looking to find the right method for them.

The 'Old Witch Ways' class series explores the key skills requested of witches and modern cunning folk within their communities today. (They are designed to be drop-in classes so you don't need to attend all of them.) Hannah Sanders has a doctorate in anthropology and is a longstanding practitioner of folk and herb magic. She was the last apprentice of writer and tarot reader Joyce Collin-Smith, and she is the granddaughter of a well-known Irish fortune teller. Professionally, she is a traditional folk singer.
