About The Event
Divination is one of the most ancient and varied forms of magic in the world.
In this class, Hannah Sanders introduces this huge and multi-disciplined subject by way of two important works. The first is The Complete Fortune Teller: Being the Magic Mirror of Michael Nostradamus – a famed 1899 manual covering everything from reading cards to palmistry to astrology. The second is the Pythagorean Wheel – an intriguing number-based oracular system. By the end, participants will have a broad understanding of the most important divination methods and how to use them in a modern context to seek meaning, peace and insight.
The 'Old Witch Ways' class series explores the key skills requested of witches and modern cunning folk within their communities today. (They are designed to be drop-in classes so you don't need to attend all of them.) The next events in the series are: Reading Dreams (29 April), Removing the Curse (22 May) and Getting Justice (2 July).
