This workshop with Rebecca Beattie looks at ceremonial and folk methods for self-protection and inner stability
Time & Location
05 Jul 2021, 19:00 – 21:00
About The Event
This practical workshop looks at three approaches: the cleansing and banishing practices of the grimoire tradition, the protective charms of folk magic, and the approach of modern pagan witchcraft. Rebecca Beattie demonstrates all of these: the creation of protective salt water, the formation of a magic circle, as well as the making of a traditional European witch bottle. Participants will come away with a working knowledge of how to form these at home for themselves.
Rebecca Beattie brings an informative approach to her inclusive style or teaching, aimed at those starting out. A Wiccan priestess who apprenticed in her tradition over 15 years, she brings much lived experience and practical knowledge. She has an MA in Literature (London) and a doctorate in Creative Writing (Middlesex) with a dissertation on the modernist mystic Mary Webb. She is a published author with several books to her name.
