The Embodied Tarot – 2-day Workshop

By popular demand, tarot master Adrien Mastrosimone is back in London for his paradigm-shifting workshop.

Held live at Treadwell’s, this intensive 2-day event blends movement and meditation to foster a three-dimensional relationship with the cards. First, Adrien teaches participants how to physically embody the tarot’s archetypes and build a deeply personal connection to them, removing the need for rote-learning. Then he explores a new way to interpret the cards within a spread, drawing from the intriguing ‘Systemic Constellations’ philosophy. By the end of the weekend, students not only have a dynamic new appreciation of the tarot, but a wholly original technique for answering questions.

This is the only workshop of its type in the world and is suitable for both tarot beginners and seasoned readers. Participants learn methods to move beyond the intellect, drop into the body and review problems from multiple angles to receive nuanced insights. The training takes places in a fun, supportive environment and all have the chance to be individually coached by Adrien on their technique. Expect a stirring, gently challenging and mind-opening weekend.

The workshop runs 12.30-6pm both days (breaking for tea and biscuits) and is structured as follows:

Part 1

The first half of both days focuses on physically evoking the archetypes of selected tarot cards, beginning with The Fool. Adrien provides full guidance on how to do this and everyone has plenty of time to practise. Later, complexity is added as other cards are 'met' and interacted with. Movement and meditations follow.

Part 2

In the second half of both days, Adrien teaches participants how to combine tarot reading with principles from the Systemic Constellations philosophy. In this method, ‘key players’ in a situation are identified, matched to cards, and worked with holistically to find a resolution (called ‘constellation’). At this point, everyone has the chance to be coached on a personal issue by Adrien, providing them with guidance on how to move forward, alongside a demonstration of how to use this compelling method themselves.

Note: to allow everyone to have an in-depth and personalised experience, the workshop has a maximum of 8 students. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to learn from a remarkable teacher who only visits London a few times a year.

Please bring a Rider-Waite-Smith style or Marseille tarot deck, a notebook and a pen. Both sessions involve physical movement such as walking and kneeling. Adrien Mastrosimone has over 20 years’ experience as a tarot practitioner and is a recognised authority on the art. He started reading the cards in his teens and went on to study under several tarot masters. He is also an expert at using the body creatively, having worked as a professional opera singer and ballet dancer for many years across Europe.
