About The Event
In the witches' wheel of the year, Midsummer is an important holiday, the longest day of the year is a time of great strength, but also the tipping point towards the dark part of the year. It is dedicated to celebration and great magic. Tonight explores the way witches see this time, and how they mark it. The first hour is an illustrated talk with discussion. The second hour is a led discussion in which participants will ask questions and share their own knowledge of seasonal folk magic.
The tutor is Rebecca Beattie, a longstanding Wiccan practitioner who is approachable and knowledgeable.
