Practical Magic: Divination

This workshop introduces forms of divination other than tarot: oracle decks, pendulums, and scrying with water and ink. Rebecca gives an informed overview, with personal insights and a bit of guidance on each. She then leads a practical session in which attendees use the pendulum to ask simple yes or no questions. She then leads a guided meditation for a practice at scrying.

Please bring: a drinking glass or a glass/silver bowl, some water, a candle, some ink, and an oracle deck if you have one. Also bring a pendulum: this can be a pendant necklace, a watch - anything that is weighted and can move freely when held.

Rebecca Beattie brings an informative approach to her inclusive style or teaching, aimed at those starting out. A Wiccan priestess who apprenticed in her tradition over 15 years, she brings much lived experience and practical knowledge. She has an MA in Literature (London) and a doctorate in Creative Writing (Middlesex) with a dissertation on the modernist mystic Mary Webb. She is a published author with several books to her name.
