This beginner's workbook is set out as a course of lessons, and the student completes them one at a time, in order to learn to read the tarot. The first lessons are on basic concepts, the the student progresses gradually towards more advanced techniques and ideas. Bunning gives exercises, examples, keywords, mnemonic aids, and practical advice. Very usefully, she shows how to interpret the cards in relation to each other, and thus build the "story" of a reading. Illustrated throughout with black and white images of the popular Rider-Waite deck.
