Myth & Lore is a new zine that describes itself as dedicated to 'everything weird, wonderful, mythological and folklore based'. The second issue of this zine is devoted to that oddest of living things – fungi, which are in many ways as much animal as they are plant. The contributions include poetry, short prose, interviews, artwork and photographs, and touch on a variety of different fungi and mushrooms, as well as aspects of fungal life. There is even a recipe for oven-baked mushroom risotto for the more culinarily minded. Striking black-and-white illustrations throughout complete this issue dedicated to a fascinating part of wildlife.
