Revised and expanded edition of Jake Stratton-Kent's seminal work of goetic magic. Hardback edition, limited to 1,200 copies.

Jake Stratton-Kent's The True Grimoire is arguably one of the most important occult publications from the last few years, marking the modern revival of the grimoire tradition and its renewed place in Western magic. This landmark work aims to reconstruct a workable edition of the infamous book of magic from the corrupted French and Italian texts, drawing on Stratton-Kent's own extensive knowledge of the grimoires and their spirits. The extensive commentaries and explanations flesh out important elements of the grimoire and its tradition: the use of magical seals, spirits of the days, principal figures such as Astaroth, and much more.

The expanded edition includes two additional essays: 'The Prayer for Success', an examination of a central prayer that is recited throughout the work and which appears elsewhere in the Solomonic tradition, and 'The Conjuration of Nebiros', an account of the author's own working based around the Grimoirium Verum performed a few years ago. The True Grimoire has played a foundational role in the revival of Goetic Magic and is rightly considered a classic work of contemporary esoteric scholarship, and this revised edition should not be missed by grimoire enthusiasts.
