The Sefer Yetzirah ("Book of Creation") is a core text of the Jewish Kabbalah, but is not often available in good English-language editions. Here, Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan provides not only a new translation of the text, but also a chapter of his own commentary which sheds much light on the theoretical, magical, and meditative implications of the text.  Kaplan is a recognised scholarly expert in the field, and this book deserves a place on the bookshelf of any serious student of the Kabbalah.
